Studio 121G

When we happily moved into a small quadruplex, we were delighted to have a bit of yard for Mallory the Dog and Orange Dog the Cat. And I was quickly eying the garage and relegating anything automotive to the concrete out front. Someone had enjoyed a workshop in this garage and had built a double shelf unit along most of one long wall. That someone must have been a little tall, because the top shelf is perfect for me to work on. The ceiling is high enough for my seven-foot studio easel, which settles right next to the end of the shelves, where my oil palette and brushes sit at attention. At the other end of the shelves pastels reign, and across the room our old library table makes a great place for watercolor, crayons (yup), and drawing. My turning pedestal aches for clay; that is on its way.
